ASSAM – MEGHALAYA – ARUNACHAL PRADESH

DAY 01: Guwahati (ASSAM)

Today arrive at Guwahati airport, received and then we will drive to MaaKamakhaya temple – one of the most powerful temple in India. After spending some time we will proceed and Check into hotel, after refreshment we will go for a boat ride in The Mighty  River Brahmaputra. Evening back to hotel and overnight stay.

 DAY 02: Shillong (ASSAM – MEGHALAYA)

Today after breakfast we will visit Assam State Museum, Craft Centre and Navagraha Temple and later procced to Shillong, nroute stop at the scenic view point of the  Umiam lake (the largest

manmade lake in Northeast India), reach Shillong and check into hotel, after refreshment explore the local night markets of Shillong. Overnight  Stay at Shillong.

DAY 03: Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong(MEGHALAYA)

Today after breakfast we set to explore Shillong and Cherrapunjee, we will visit the Elephant falls,  Shillong Peak (the highest point in Meghalaya) and the drive further to Cherrapunjee, at Cherrapunjee we visit the Nohkalikai Falls (the fourth highest falls in the world), Mawsmai Cave, Danthlen Falls and Krem Falls. After exploring for the day we  will drive back to Shillong and overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 04: Shillong – Mawllynnong – Shillong (MEGHALAYA)

Today after breakfast we drive to Mawllynnong , explore the village and also trek for 10 min to visit the Single Decker  Living Root Bridge in Riwai village, also visit The Dawki ( Indo – Bangla Border) later go for a boat ride in  Umgot River ( the crystal clear river), after day long excursion back to Shillong and overnight stay.

DAY 05: Shillong – Tezpur/Nameri (MEGHALAYA – ASSAM)

Today after breakfast drive to Tezpur/Nameri, check into Hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel.

DAY 06: Tezpur/Nameri -Dirang (ASSAM – ARUNACHAL)

Today after breakfast we will drive to Dirang , will drive via Kalakthang road. On reaching Dirang if  time permits we will visit Dirang Dzong and a Monpa village. Overnight stay in Dirang.

DAY 07: Dirang – Tawang (ARUNACHAL)

Today after breakfast we visit the Dirang Monastery and then we proceed for Tawang , enroute we will visit Sela Lake at Sela Pass , Jashwant Ghar and Nunarang Falls (also known as Jung Falls),  reach Tawang and check into hotel and overnight stay at Tawang.

DAY 08: Tawang – Bumla Pass – Tawang (ARUNACHAL)

Today after breakfast we will visit the Sangetsar Lake (also known as Madhuri Lake), PTso Lake and Bumla Pass (Indo – China border) (Please do note that permission to Bumla Pass depends on the Army official permit and the situation of the area  also in winter the area get huge amount of snowfall), back to Tawang and visit Light & Sound Show  in War Memorial and Tawang Local Market. Overnight stay at Tawang.

DAY 09: Tawang – Bomdila (ARUNACHAL)

Today after an early breakfast we visit Tawang Monastery and Urgelling Monastery. Later we drive to Bomdila, reach Bomdila and visit Bomdila Monastery and Bomdila Point, check into hotel and

evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Bomdila.

 DAY 10: Bomdila – Kaziranga (ARUNACHAL – ASSAM)

Today after breakfast we will drive to Kaziranga , reach Kaziranga and overnight stay atKaziranga.

DAY 11: Kaziranga (ASSAM)

Today you will go for safaris and elephant ride inside the national park. Early morning go for an Elephant ride then return back to the lodge and after breakfast go to Orchid Park, Missing tribal villages,  come back to lodge. After lunch and refreshment go for another Jeep Safari in the Western/ Central range of the park , evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

DAY 12: Kaziranga – Guwahati Departure

Today after breakfast drive to Guwahati airport  for your onward destination.

Advance 50% payment to book your seat
100% balance payment at least 30 days before the commencement of tour
Refund policy in case of cancellation:
80% of total cost if cancelled 60 days or more before the commencement of tour
50% of total cost if cancelled 30 days to 59 days before the commencement of tour
20% of total cost if cancelled 16 days to 29 days before the commencement of tour
No refund if cancelled 15 days or lesser before the commencement of tour

Terms and Conditions

  1. The above rates are based on minimum 2 persons travelling together.
  2. Child below 12 years can share the bed with the parents with an extra cost.
  3. Airfares may change without any notice at any time during the validity of the package.
  4. Rates are subject to change based on availability and date of travel (Peak season/ Conference/ Holiday period surcharges would apply)
  5. Weekend surcharge may be applicable if any.
  6. Hotel check in time is 1200 hours, check out time is 1100 hours. Early check in / late checks out is subject to availability of rooms.
  7. Surcharge may applicable if travel in weekends.
  8. Cancellation charges would apply as per company policy.
